Journey To The Cloud

Cloud computing is revolutionizing the IT world. While some of the giants of the IT world like Amazon, Google, SalesForce.com, Microsoft and Yahoo have reaped the benefits of cloud computing for a number of years, the technology is now at an inflection point. Today, small and medium size businesses are embracing it at a very rapid pace and using the cloud to gain business advantage.  In this presentation, Mannan will provide a brief overview of Cloud computing and its basic tenants. He will discuss the pros and cons of cloud computing for small and medium size businesses. He will also cover the macro trends in the industry and talk about the resources available and options businesses have to leverage the cloud.

The Pakistani American Network Of Science & Engineering Professionals (PANSEP) in partnership with the Women Intel Network and Intel Pakistani Employee Group organize a networking session with the Thunderbird School of Management Project Artemis Pakistan.

This project will facilitate the business training to 10 promising businesswomen selected from all over Pakistan. These ladies are entrepreneurs who are already doing business in Pakistan. They will be in Glendale from May 3rd to May 15th attending a 2 week business administration program in the Thunderbird Management School. The project Artemis Pakistan is funded by the Goldman Sachs and the US department of State

PANSEP Activities PDF Print E-mail

PANSEP is a network of Pakistani-American engineers, scientists, and IT professionals. The organization was formed in January, 2008 by a group of professionals residing in Phoenix metropolitan area and is registered as a non-profit corporation in the state of Arizona. The membership is open, however, to all engineers, scientists, and IT professionals of Pakistan origin living in North America.

The primary objectives of the organization are; 1) to provide networking opportunities to its members for career guidance and advancement, and 2) to use our combined technical expertise to contribute in uplifting of Science and Technology education and its application in Pakistani society for a better socio-economic future. Mr Naeem Zafar, Founder - Concordia Ventures and President - OPEN Silicon Valley, will conduct a seminar on keys to successful entrepreneurship. PANSEP conducted a seminar on career development on May 31st. We had invited Mohammad Raghib Hussain of Cavium Netwroks to talk about his and Cavium's success story.  

Dec 14th, 2008
PANSEP, in collaboration with APPNA-AZ organized a joint event for Science, Technology, Medical, and Business Professionals in Arizona. There were break-out sessions for each organization, followed by a joint program consisting of Banquet Dinner, Keynote Speech, and light Sub-continental music.
